PERSONA AI (CEO Yoo Seung-jae) announced on the 1st that it will officially launch the artificial intelligence (AI) digital education platform 'AI MENTOR'.

AI MENTOR is an educational platform that applies PERSONA AI's self-developed sLLM (Miniaturized Large Language Model) and generative AI. In anticipation of the introduction of AI digital textbooks in 2025, it was planned with the aim of increasing familiarity and adaptability to AI education. It can be used by students, parents, teachers, and educational institutions, and it integrates curriculum and activities tailored to each level in consideration of each student's capabilities.

AI MENTOR reflects the voices of the educational field and combines high-quality content and AI technology. First of all, it provides a variety of educational contents such as curriculum linkage, creative activities, and classroom management. It reflects the learning achievement standards of the Ministry of Education to increase reliability. By applying its own AI technologies to this, it doubles the utilization of content. Generative AI can individually show customized materials based on students' answers. In addition to text, it creates materials such as images, tables, and graphs to induce active learning. The 'KGPT' technology, which boasts a high level of understanding of the Korean language, is a source of accurate questions and answers.

In addition, the company has established a learning management system (LMS) for smooth classes and communication. All you have to do is include the educational content that the teacher wants, and a dedicated class list will be created. Classes can be assigned to all students as well as individually and in groups, and attendance and learning status can be checked in real time. A 1:1 comment feature is also supported. After the class, you can check the student's answers and learning, and make individual corrections and communicate.

PERSONA AI introduced AI MENTOR at the 'Korea Education Expo 2024' held for three days from the 17th and held a public demonstration. The event participants who used AI MENTOR in the field gave a great response to the education that incorporates AI. It is easy to use without installation or download, and it also received a good response that it filters out harmful words and supports safe learning with strict ban word settings.

After collecting opinions from various education stakeholders, PERSONA AI will advance AI MENTOR and strengthen the foundation of educational AI. It plans to grow into an integrated AI education platform by expanding in-depth services for each major subject. As a first step, it is operating a customized English grammar learning service 'AI English grammar', and will add an 'AI English question generation' service for teachers in the first half of the year. It is a service that generates and provides unlimited various types of English questions after AI collects and analyzes various examination questions from textbooks, EBS teaching materials, SATs, and civil service exams.

Meanwhile, PERSONA AI, which is well-known as Korea's first subscription-based cloud AICC (AI Contact Center), is expanding its AI business to include consulting AI such as chatbots and call bots, as well as Korean GPT, virtual humans, and AI semiconductors. Last year, the company signed an MOU with Microsoft (MS) for the GPT business and R&D and attracted investment from SK Telecom and Hyosung Ventures.
