I-News24 Reporter Kim Se-hee] In the new year, many companies are spurring the discovery of future food. Among them, products incorporating artificial intelligence (AI) technology are attracting a lot of attention.
As the industrial field that incorporates artificial intelligence (AI) grows, the AI semiconductor market is also drawing attention. According to Swiss investment bank UBS, the size of the global AI semiconductor market is expected to reach $30.2 billion by 2021. AI semiconductors are built into hardware and can be used in various fields, and there are memory semiconductors and non-memory semiconductors.
In the midst of this, Persona System, which developed a native conversation engine in Korea, recently introduced a micro semiconductor equipped with a conversational AI engine, attracting attention. The Persona System was recognized for its technological prowess by introducing innovative products such as chatbots, callbots, and AI kiosks, and was designated as an innovative financial service by the Financial Services Commission in May last year.
A Persona System official said, “The dialogue engine semiconductor is installed in various hardware such as automobiles, robots, speakers, and kiosks, and can be applied to smart cities, smart factories, and smart cars. In the future, as the trend is changing to the era of controlling things through dialogue, almost all devices will be equipped with dialogue engine semiconductors.”
In particular, the AI kiosk works with voice, and with the concept of 'kiosk in my hand', it can be used while sitting or moving without standing in line in front of the kiosk by linking with a smartphone. Gender, age, and emotions are analyzed through facial recognition technology He said that it is possible to provide customized customer service, and said that AI semiconductors are embedded in these equipment and operate without a network.
