Registration Date : 2024.07.08

PERSONA AI, an artificial intelligence (AI) company, announced on the 8th that it will launch 'ON SERVER AI', an AI engine for servers.

PERSONA AI is a company that is leading the artificial intelligence contact center (AICC) service based on its self-developed AI technology. We paid attention to the potential of the on-device AI market early on and have been working on lightweight work to embed AI engines in various devices. In particular, we have achieved success by embedding an ultra-small, ultra-low-power AICC engine in a semiconductor board and exporting it to the United States, Brazil, and New Zealand, and have already launched a programmable semiconductor (FGPA) and board type in 2018.

The AI engine for servers released this time is a lightweight product of generative AI (Gen AI). It supports the use of generative AI anytime, anywhere, regardless of network environment. For example, by simply pressing the keyboard button, you can use various AI assistant functions such as document creation, summary, and translation without an Internet connection. There are no security concerns such as data leakage, and it provides AI functions with low power and high performance by processing all data within the device.

PERSONA AI plans to collaborate with global hardware manufacturers to become a core company in the next-generation AI server, while expanding its on-device AI business to proactively respond to market demand. According to market research firm Markets and Markets, the global on-device AI market size is expected to grow at an average annual rate of 37.7%, reaching approximately 240 trillion won in 2030.

An official from PERSONA AI said, “The era is approaching when companies that increase the use of AI by combining hardware and software can secure competitiveness,” and added, “PERSONA AI is a partner that helps the rapid introduction and implementation of on-device AI based on original technology.” he said.
