Persona AI announced on the 15th (local time) that it won first place in the Tech Award at the ‘GEN AI Solution Competition 2023’.

Persona AI, which was the only Korean company ranked in the TOP3 at last year's Korea-US New York Startup Summit, received the NIPA Award in 2023 and is known as a company specializing in GEN AI and AICC, receiving investment from SKT and Hyosung in Korea.

The GEN AI Competition was held at the University of Southern California (USC) ICS (Information Science Institute) laboratory and is an event comprised of global AI scholars from the United States, China, Taiwan, and Australia.

The evaluation committee members are all from famous universities such as MIT, Harvard, and Irvine, and evaluated the artificial intelligence solutions of about 100 GEN AI companies.

Among the five final candidates, Korea's Persona AI took first place (Tech Award) and Singapore's SPLORE took second place (Innovation Award). Third place (Contribution Award) went to ALELO from the United States.

Persona AI's KGPT not only eliminated hallucination of LLM (Large Language Model), but also solved issues such as security issues and response speed, and is a document that combines search and work that can be summarized, translated, and changed to various images through prompts. This is a service that allows learning.

A Persona AI official said, "This international event has great significance in announcing the advancement of Korean companies into AI, and we will continue to take on global challenges."
