Hanwha General Insurance introduces 'Insurance Roboteller'

Hanwha General Insurance is developing a non-face-to-face customer-facing system that can handle everything from subscription consultations to insurance contract conclusions using a roboteller.



On the 10th, Hanwha General Insurance and Persona AI, a company specializing in AI conversation engines, signed a business agreement for the introduction of an AI (artificial intelligence)-based insurance roboteller at the Yeouido office building in Seoul.


The main services are in the TM (telemarketing) contract stage, △ script automation for the robot to explain and record products under the management of a counselor △ contract automation for subscription design and subscription △ ARS (automatic response system) for customers It is an advanced ARS system that recognizes the customer's voice and moves to the desired menu when using it. The service is expected to open in stages until June next year.


In order to guarantee consumer rights and interests, it plans to establish and operate the system in stages over the next two years, such as performing complete sales monitoring using a roboteller.


Choi Yong-min, head of the digital strategy team at Hanwha General Insurance, said, "We will build an accurate and easy insurance subscription process so that we can quickly respond to customers' questions or requests for additional explanations with digital technology using AI voice bots."
