Artificial intelligence (AI) company Persona AI announced that CEO Seungjae Yoo received the Seoktap Order of Industrial Service Merit at the '2025 Seoul Small and Medium Business Convention' held at the Small and Medium Business DMC Tower in Mapo-gu, Seoul on July 4th.

The Seoul Small Business Awards is an event designed to honor the contributions of Seoul-based small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to the national economy. CEO Yoo received this award in recognition of his independent development of AI core technologies and his contributions to strengthening Korea's technological competitiveness.

Since founding Persona AI in 2017, the company has been dedicated to technological research, focusing on the future potential of AI. It has successfully developed and commercialized advanced AI technology and has spearheaded its expansion into various industries. In particular, it has developed an edge AI engine that can be implemented without a GPU, accelerating the "one AI per person" era. This technology won an Innovation Award at CES, the world's largest IT exhibition, earlier this year.
